NANTO PAINT SPONSORED AD MAIORA REFIT WITH ITS PRODUCT FOR REDUCED FRICTION PURPOSES

Nanto Paint has sponsored trimaran Ad Maiora ORMA 60 (ex Fleury Michon IX) refit with its biocide-free epoxy-silicone coating NPC AF-SIL06, the new product launched with characteristics of reduced friction and consequently saving of fuel consumption. 

The trimaran has had its debut at the 151 miglia race (31 May-2 June), where has started 5 minutes before, going to the start line and giving an impressive performance. Ad Maiora has been able to sail very fast, with peaks of 20 knots, and the skipper Bruno Cardile expressed its satisfaction about the results at this challenging first regatta after the refitting.

Due to adverse conditions Ad Maiora remained without wind for two hours during the race, but then when the wind came back, Ad Maiora has started going faster and gained the fourth position.The next race is scheduled for 21s August for the Palermo-Montecarlo.
