On September 6th 2012, the Italian Company FRANCHI&KIM INDUSTRIE VERNICI S.p.A specialized in the Building sector and paints for the tintometric system, confirmed, after 18 months of tests and analysis, the performance enhancement of up to 40% of the anticorrosive products, primers and intermediates epoxy coating, with the Nanto Protective Coating patented technology.
The technology development run by NPC obtained important industrial outcomes, result of the collaboration started in 2008 with Prof Samuel Kenig, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Head of Master's Degree Plastics Engineering Department in Tel Aviv, and with international scientific partners: in particular Shenkar University in Israel and Trento University in Italy.
Primer and Intermediate characterizations have been run by Prof. Bonora, National Expert in corrosion.
It is important to notice that Industrial comparative tests outcomes (ISO & ASTM international standards), performed by the business partner Franchi & Kim confirmed the promising results obtained in previous years with the best International scientific Institutions. These results have enabled to proceed with the performing products industrialization at international level.
